These ornaments are born from my large embroidery body of work, the bedroom series. I began this body of work early 2019 and I have since been saving the little scraps of discarded wool from the process of making my embroideries. I never wanted to throw the scraps away, they were a part of a story, of the process of creation, of my research. Each glass globe is stuffed with these pieces of wool, in a way living forever protected inside, in its own little glass bedroom.

Each ornament comes with a hand died, hand torn velvet ribbon.
